About the role
The Operations & Development Coordinator will help build a high-skill, high-trust mobile veterinary deployment network in British Columbia. Key responsibilities include recruiting veterinarians, RVTs, and assistants as volunteers and locums, organizing spay/neuter and other clinic teams, supporting rural and remote deployments, raising funds, and ensuring the successful operation of clinic days.
Responsibilities
- Recruit and manage a network of veterinary professionals, RVTs, and assistants
- Organize and lead spay/neuter and other clinic teams
- Support rural and remote deployments
- Raise funds to support the work
- Ensure the smooth running of clinic days
Requirements
- Experience in veterinary medicine, animal welfare, fundraising, logistics, field operations, or community-based non-profit work
- Practical, disciplined, relationship-focused, calm under pressure, and willing to build something new
