Occupational Therapist (OT) - Full Time

About the role

We are seeking a Home Health Occupational Therapist responsible for assessing and improving patients' functional abilities to promote independence and safety at home.

Responsibilities

• evaluating mobility, strength, and daily activity performance
• assessing home environments for safety
• developing personalized treatment plans
• providing therapeutic interventions
• fabricating splints and training patients in adaptive device use
• supporting return-to-work evaluations
• educating patients, families, and caregivers
• care coordination through accurate documentation, communication with interdisciplinary teams, and participation in case conferences
• supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and overseeing home health aide care when therapy is the sole skilled service

Qualifications

• graduation from an accredited OT program
• current NBCOT registration
• state licensure
• CPR certification
