Join the team of 1 FT/1 PT/3 PRN OB Hospitalists, 1 OBGYN, 2 midwives, and 4 APPs. The facility handles 500-600 births per year with very flexible scheduling—7 24-hour shifts per month.

- Level II NICU staffed 24 hours by Pediatric Hospitalists & NICU Nurses with access to an on-site blood bank
- Teaching opportunity with Family Medicine Residents (in L&D 24/7) and Medical Students
- In-house specialists available for consultation/collaboration in patient care, including Cardiology, Orthopedics, Reconstructive Surgery, Anesthesiology, and more

- 300+ employed providers across specialties such as Neurosurgery, Cardiology, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, OBGYN, Pulmonary/Critical Care, and more
- Level III Trauma Center offering post-graduate education programs on site, including Family Medicine and Internal Medicine Residency Programs, Cardiology Fellowship, and Palliative Care Fellowship
- Regional health system covering 14 counties, including seven critical access hospitals and 42 clinics in northern Iowa, serving approximately 260,000 people
Pay
- Base Salary: $400,000/year
- $150,000 bonus package
- Up to $15,000 moving allowance
- Annual CME: $6,000

Requirements
- Graduate of a medical/osteopathic medical school
- Completion of an appropriate residency program; board certified or board eligible (must be board certified within 3 years of becoming eligible)
- Must be able to obtain Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa medical staff privileges
- Above-average communication skills and ability to work with a team
- Licensed or eligible for State of Iowa physician license; Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate
