About the role

MercyOne Obstetrics & Gynecology- Mason City is a busy practice with immediate volume opportunities. Both full-time and part-time positions are available with very flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• No call required
• No nights, weekends, or holidays
• Primary clinic schedule with surgery 4.5 days per week
• Teaching opportunity for FM Residents and Medical Students
• Newly remodeled clinic with proximity to Labor & Delivery, Lab, Pharmacy, and Radiology
• Access to Perinatology consultation
• Level II NICU staffed 24/7 by Pediatric Hospitalists and NICU Nurses
• In-house specialists available for consultation/collaboration in patient care
• Network service area covering 14 counties
• Regional referral teaching hospital with Top 100 Hospital ranking
• Easy access to all specialists, lab, radiology, pharmacy, and many other services

Requirements

• Graduate of a medical/osteopathic medical school
• Board certified or board eligible
• Completed an appropriate residency program
• Able to obtain Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa medical staff privileges
• Above average communication skills
• Able to work with a team
• Licensed or eligible for State of Iowa physician license
• Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate
