OB Hospitalist- Mason City, Iowa- $550k compensation package!

About the role

MercyOne OB Hospitalist- Mason City is part of a regional health system serving 14 counties in northern Iowa. The position involves working with a team of 1 full-time, 1 part-time, and 3 per diem OB Hospitalists, 1 OBGYN, 2 midwives, and 4 APPs. The schedule is very flexible, with 7 24-hour shifts per month, and there's access to a Level II NICU staffed 24/7.

Responsibilities

• Part of a team providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care
• Collaborate with in-house specialists including Cardiology, Orthopedics, Reconstructive Surgery, Anesthesiology, and others
• Teaching opportunity for FM Residents and Medical Students
• Work in a Level III Trauma Center with post-graduate education programs
• Highly compensated with excellent benefits including a base salary of $400,000/year and a $150,000 bonus package

Requirements

• Board certified or board eligible in OB/GYN
• Completed an appropriate residency program
• Medical school graduate from an accredited institution
• Licensed or eligible for Iowa physician license
• Above average communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team

Qualifications

• Graduate of a medical/osteopathic medical school
• Completed an appropriate residency program
• Board certified or board eligible in OB/GYN
• Licensed or eligible for Iowa physician license
• Able to obtain Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa medical staff privileges
