About the role

This position oversees clinical care and emergency responses in a skilled nursing environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff, monitor productivity, and perform staff allocations
• Participate in budget planning and ensure adequate staffing
• Evaluate new admissions for compliance and manage medication control
• Perform performance management, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, and staff development
• Communicate resident clinical updates and respond to concerns
• Conduct unit rounds and investigate issues
• Prepare documentation for investigations
• Ensure quality care delivery, compliance, staffing, and resident satisfaction through effective supervision, communication, and operational oversight

Requirements

• Must hold a valid NYS RN license
• Preferred: two or more years in a leadership role within long-term care or skilled nursing facilities
