About the Role

This position involves overseeing clinical care and emergency responses in a skilled nursing facility, ensuring high-quality patient care and staff supervision.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff during assigned shifts to maintain care standards
• Monitor productivity and assist in budget planning
• Evaluate new admissions and ensure compliance with policies
• Manage medication control and staffing resources
• Participate in staff hiring, orientation, coaching, and development
• Communicate resident clinical updates and address concerns or complaints
• Perform unit rounds and investigate issues, ensuring proper documentation for regulatory and internal purposes

Requirements

• NYS RN License
• Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities (preferred)
