New York – Corporate Latin America Associate (Mid-Level)

About the role

We are seeking a mid-level associate to join our market-leading Corporate Latin America practice in either our Bay Area or New York offices. This role will focus primarily on sophisticated Latin American and U.S. transactions, with additional exposure to a broad range of general corporate matters.

Responsibilities

• Representing emerging companies, venture capital and private equity investors, and/or investment funds
• Experience with M&A, private equity, and ideally venture capital transactions
• Representation of emerging companies and/or investment funds
• Advising on Latin American transactions

Requirements

• JD (2020–2021) (preferable)
• LLM degree
• Corporate transactional experience and prior large law firm experience – U.S. “white shoe” law firm experience is a plus
• Spanish working proficiency required

Qualifications

• Admission to the New York and/or California Bar required

• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Benefits

• Competitive salary range: $365,000 - $390,000
