New York – Corporate Transactional Associate (Mid-Level/Senior Associate)

About the role

We are seeking mid-level and senior associates to join our Corporate group in our New York office, focusing on transactional matters including Growth Equity transactions and Mergers and Acquisitions. The ideal candidates will have proven experience in M&A and will support investor-side financings in later stage financing rounds and M&A. Daily practice involves significant client contact with CEOs, Boards of Directors, and venture fund general partners within the start-up and venture capital ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary lead attorney on M&A and growth equity financing transactions
• Manage multiple client matters simultaneously with meaningful client contact from day one

Requirements

• JD from 2020–2023
• Admitted or eligible to waive into the State Bar of New York
• Eagerness to work with emerging growth companies and funds
• Demonstrated experience in M&A and/or growth equity financing transactions
• Significant knowledge of M&A and/or late-stage private company financings and secondary liquidity transactions
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Experience

• At least 3–6 years of experience with M&A and/or growth equity financing transactions
• Previous large law firm experience required

Salary

$260,000 – $390,000
