New York – Corporate Associate (Junior)

About the role

We are searching for junior associates to join our Corporate group in our New York office. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in mergers and acquisitions or in providing strategic support to start-ups or venture capital firms. We are seeking motivated, team-oriented, and collaborative attorneys who are excited about working with clients in the start-up and venture capital ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Counseling early-stage entrepreneurs
• Representing companies and venture funds in venture financing rounds and M&A
• Investor‑side financing in growth equity rounds
• Maintaining significant client contact daily
• Interacting with CEOs, Boards of Directors, and general partners of venture funds

Requirements

• JD 2023‑2024
• Previous large law firm experience required
• Admitted or eligible to waive into the State Bar of New York
• Eagerness to work with emerging growth companies and funds
• Demonstrated experience in M&A, venture capital financings and/or growth equity financing transactions

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Pay

Salary Range $235,000 - $260,000
