New York – Corporate Latin America Associate (Junior)

About the role

We are seeking a junior associate to join our market-leading Corporate Latin America practice in either our Bay Area or New York offices (with strong preference for Bay Area).

Responsibilities

• Representing emerging companies and/or investment funds
• Experience in venture capital financings
• Mergers and acquisitions
• General corporate matters
• Significant client exposure and early responsibility on active matters
• Work with entrepreneurs building technology businesses across Latin America, primarily in Spanish-speaking markets, and the U.S.
• Collaborate with venture capital funds investing in those companies

Requirements

• JD (2024-2025) or LLM degree
• Prior work experience in Latin America is preferred
• Experience with emerging companies and venture capital financings strongly preferred
• Admission to the California and/or New York Bar required
• Fluency in Spanish is required

Salary

$225,000 - $235,000
