About the role
Littler Mendelson P.C. is seeking an attorney with a minimum of 5-7 years of employment law experience, with a strong focus on wage and hour litigation and counseling, to join its New York office.
Responsibilities
- Handle complex wage and hour matters, including class, collective, and representative actions
- Advise employers on compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws
- Defend and prosecute breaches of restrictive covenants
- Prepare and negotiate employment contracts and executive compensation provisions
- Demonstrate familiarity with and openness to leveraging AI-driven and emerging technologies
Requirements
- Licensed to practice law immediately in New York
- Experience handling complex wage and hour matters
- Experience advising employers on compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws
- Experience defending and prosecuting breaches of restrictive covenants
- Experience preparing and negotiating employment contracts and executive compensation provisions
- Familiarity with and openness to leveraging AI-driven and emerging technologies

Pay
The salary range for this position is $280,000 to $315,000 annually, contingent on relevant experience and education, and includes eligibility for performance-based bonuses.
