Responsibilities

  • Assemble molded plastic parts following a prescribed routine or where method of assembly is obvious.
  • Run machines to perform specific machining processes on molded plastic parts.
  • Select programs, change fixtures, and run machines, with the ability to start-up and shut-down equipment independently.
  • Record process control data, read and interpret blueprint tolerances, and use measurement tools properly.
  • Use hand tools, scales, and other process-related equipment such as fixtures, assembly presses, and drill presses.
  • Perform fine hand manipulation, pinching, pulling, and grasping of small, medium, and large parts.
  • Operate tools independently and maintain full range of motion in hands, arms, legs, neck, and back.
  • May need to deburr and/or gauge parts during machine cycles.
  • Work in a team environment, follow direction, and prepare container tickets, including addition and subtraction of part counts.
  • Communicate effectively in English, including written and verbal communication.
  • Have normal to high manual dexterity skills and be able to use all required hand tools, machinery, and variable gauges.
  • Be qualified and competent after a reasonable predetermined training period based on job complexity.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.57 per hour. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.

Schedule

Typical work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime as needed.
