About the role
Brunswick is a global marine leader committed to innovation and transformation. We seek an Assembler to join our team, responsible for production-assembly tasks involving molded plastic parts. The role involves running machines, following step-by-step procedures, and performing various operations like deburring and gauging parts.
Responsibilities
- Run machines to perform specific machining processes on molded plastic parts
- Place parts on machine fixtures and secure them using foot pedals or hand controls
- Debur and gauge parts during machine cycles
- Select programs, change fixtures, and run machines independently
- Record process control data and read blueprint tolerances
- Use measurement tools and operate tools independently
- Stand for extended periods, sit for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform fine hand manipulations
- Work in a team environment, follow instructions, and prepare container tickets
- Handle chemicals and other process-related equipment
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic reading, writing, and mathematics skills
- Normal to high manual dexterity
- Ability to use all required hand tools and machinery
- Competent after a reasonable training period based on job complexity
- Full range of motion in hands, arms, legs, neck, and back
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
Qualifications
- Ability to communicate in English; excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Basic reading and math skills
- Normal to high manual dexterity skills
- Qualified and competent after a reasonable predetermined training period based on job complexity
- Ability to use all required hand tools, machinery, and variable gauges
- Full range of motion in hands, arms, legs, neck, and back
- Ability to perform job duties independently
- Ability to handle chemicals and other process-related equipment

Pay
The starting pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.57 per hour, with the actual pay varying based on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. Employees may also be eligible for a 401(k) plan with company match.
