Mercury Marine Assembler I - Molding- 3rd Shift
About the role

Responsibilities
- Run machines to perform specific machining processes on molded plastic parts
- Place parts on machine fixtures and secure them using foot pedals or hand controls
- Deburr and gauge parts during machine cycles
- Select programs, change fixtures, and run machines
- Record process control data and read blueprint tolerances
- Use measurement tools and operate tools independently
- Start and shut down equipment safely
- Perform fine hand manipulation, pinching, pulling, and grasping of small-medium-large parts
- Operate hand tools, scales, and other process-related equipment such as assembly presses and drill presses
- Work in a team environment, follow directions, and prepare container tickets
- Handle chemicals and other hazardous materials safely
- Stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and use personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Work in a non-temperature-controlled environment with hot temperatures during summer months
- Perform tasks requiring full range of motion in hands, arms, legs, neck, and back
Requirements
- Ability to communicate in English; excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic reading and math skills
- Normal to high manual dexterity skills
- Ability to use all required hand tools, machinery, and variable gauges
- Competent after a reasonable predetermined training period based on job complexity
- Full range of motion in hands, arms, legs, neck, and back
- Ability to stand for extended periods, sit for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and use personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Experience with industrial lighting and routine walking, standing, and bending
Qualifications

Pay
The starting pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.57 per hour, with the actual pay offered varying based on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.

Typical work schedule varies based on department and shift requirements, but generally includes regular hours with occasional overtime as needed.
