Mercury Marine Assembler I- Molding- 2nd Shift
About the role
Brunswick is a global marine leader committed to innovation and transformation. This position is within the Assembler team at Brunswick, focusing on production assembly of molded plastic parts using machines.
Responsibilities
- Run machines to perform specific machining processes on molded plastic parts
- Place parts on machine fixtures and secure them using foot pedals or hand controls
- Debur and gauge parts during machine cycles
- Select programs, change fixtures, and run machines
- Record process control data and read blueprint tolerances
- Use measurement tools and operate tools independently
- Work in a team environment, follow directions, and prepare container tickets
- Handle chemicals and other process-related equipment
- Perform tasks involving fine hand manipulation, pinching, pulling, and grasping of small, medium, and large parts
- Stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and use personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Work in a non-temperature-controlled environment with potential for ergonomic issues, burns, bruises, cuts, and machine hazards
Requirements
- Ability to communicate in English
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic reading and math skills
- Normal to high manual dexterity
- Ability to use required hand tools, machinery, and variable gauges
- Competent after a reasonable training period based on job complexity
- Full range of motion in hands, arms, legs, neck, and back

Pay
The starting pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.57 per hour. The actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.
Schedule
Typical work schedule involves standing for extended periods, sitting for extended periods, moderate lifting, and exposure to various manufacturing environments.
