Mercury Marine Assembler I - Molding- 3rd Shift
About the role
Brunswick is a global marine leader committed to innovation and transformation. This position is within the Assembler team, responsible for production-assembly tasks involving molded plastic parts.
Responsibilities
- Run machines to perform specific machining processes on molded plastic parts
- Place parts on machine fixtures and secure them using foot pedals or hand controls
- Debur and gauge parts during machine cycles
- Select programs, change fixtures, and operate machines
- Record process control data and read blueprint tolerances
- Use measurement tools and operate various hand tools and machinery
- Operate tools independently and maintain full range of motion in hands, arms, legs, neck, and back
- Handle chemicals and other hazardous materials safely
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
Requirements
- Ability to communicate in English
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic reading and math skills
- Normal to high manual dexterity
- Ability to use all required hand tools and machinery
- Competent after a reasonable training period based on job complexity
- Full range of motion in hands, arms, legs, neck, and back
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance when necessary
- Fine hand manipulation, pinching, pulling, and grasping of small-medium-large parts
Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Basic reading and math skills
- Normal to high manual dexterity
- Ability to use all required hand tools, machinery, and variable gauges
- Competent after a reasonable training period based on job complexity
- Ability to communicate in English; excellent written and verbal communication is required

Pay
The starting pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.57 per hour, with the actual pay varying based on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.
