About the role

We are seeking a Senior Mental Health Counselor to provide comprehensive clinical services at a Crisis Recovery Center, including assessment, treatment planning, and individual, family, group, and milieu therapy.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical services such as assessment, treatment planning, and therapy (individual, family, group, and milieu).
  • Support program development and maintain standards of clinical practice.
  • Offer consultation, education, and mentoring to staff.
  • Coordinate services with healthcare professionals.
  • Engage in client, family, peer, and community education.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or a related health field.
  • At least 5 years of clinical experience.
  • Licensure in Alaska (e.g., Social Worker, Counselor, Psychologist) required upon hire.
