About the role
A Senior Mental Health Counselor provides comprehensive client care and supports clinical programming at a Crisis Recovery Center.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments, treatment planning, individual, family, and group therapy, and milieu therapy.
- Assist in developing and maintaining standards of practice and quality services.
- Serve as a resource and mentor for other clinicians, offering consultation, education, and professional development.
- Coordinate services with healthcare professionals, including physicians and ARNPs.
- Engage in community education efforts.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of clinical experience.
- Alaska license or licensure eligibility in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Psychology upon hire.
