Mental Health Counselor - Crisis Stabilization Center

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Mental Health Counselor with a Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or a related field, and at least 5 years of clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Providing comprehensive clinical services at a Crisis Recovery Center, such as assessment, treatment planning, individual, family, group, and milieu therapy
• Supporting program development
• Maintaining standards of practice
• Mentoring other clinicians
• Coordinating care with healthcare professionals, including physicians and ARNPs

Qualifications

• Alaska licensure as a Masters Social Worker, Clinical Social Worker, Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Psychologist upon hire
• Strong clinical skills and ability to provide direct client care
