About the role
The Hybrid Member Service Agent (MSHA) position blends the responsibilities of a Teller and a Member Service Agent. This role is fully onsite at the branch, given its hands-on, member-facing nature. Watch these videos to learn more:

Responsibilities
- Provide superior service to members and guests, ensuring a positive credit union image through accurate account handling.
- Process various transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, mortgage payments, and loan payments.
- Assist in other branch areas as needed, including opening, closing, and maintaining member accounts.
- Educate members on digital banking solutions such as mobile, online, Zelle, and ATM.
- Identify financial needs and cross-sell products and services with integrity.
- Process consumer loan applications, including reviewing and analyzing applications and supporting documents.
- Possess general knowledge of IRA and HSA contributions and distributions.
- Identify and report suspicious activity, including fraud, money laundering, elder abuse, and other financial crimes.
- Identify and prevent fraudulent documentation or identification.
- Serve as a Notary Public, as directed by management.
- Maintain daily branch balance reporting and dual control protocols.
- Assist management with daily opening, closing, and operational duties.
- Cover concierge desk duties as assigned.
- Process and balance monetary transactions while maintaining security of cash drawer and negotiable instruments.
- Complete Shared Branching transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
- Scan checks and negotiable instruments for processing.
- Meet balancing standards consistently with a high level of accuracy and security.
- Develop and maintain credit union relationships, demonstrating knowledge of Delta Community products and services.
- Be flexible in daily work schedule, including relieving multiple branch offices in the Atlanta area and working Saturdays.
Requirements
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years’ customer service and/or sales experience.
- 6+ months’ cash handling experience.
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations and work accurately with numbers.
- Comfortable working with little to no supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to sit/stand approximately 8 hours a day.
- Flexible in relieving multiple branch offices and willing to work Saturdays.
- Complies with all Credit Union policies and procedures, including Bank Secrecy Act regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Finance or related field.
- 1+ years’ Teller experience.
- 1+ years’ credit union or financial services experience.
- 1+ years’ loan experience.
- Notary Public certification.
- Bilingual (Spanish).
- Symitar experience.
- Knowledge of Delta Community Credit Union policies and procedures.

Schedule
Extended hours during the week and Saturdays are required.
