Member Service Hybrid Agent (Buckhead-Midtown)

About the role

The Member Service Hybrid Agent (MSHA) position combines elements of the Teller and Member Service Agent roles. This role is based fully onsite at the branch.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a positive member experience through accurate account entries and excellent customer service.
• Provide expert and useful counseling to members, taking advantage of cross sales opportunities.
• Process various types of transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and cashing checks.
• Assist with mortgage and loan payments, and support other branch operations as needed.
• Ensure compliance with deposit and loan practices, and maintain general knowledge of the consumer loan process.
• Identify and report suspicious activities, and educate members on emerging banking technologies.
• Perform notary public duties as directed, and cover concierge desk duties as assigned.
• Balance and reconcile various types of monetary transactions, and maintain security of cash and documents.
• Maintain high levels of accuracy and security, and develop credit union relationships.
• Work flexible schedules, including extended hours and Saturdays, to cover multiple branch offices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years’ customer service and/or sales experience.
• 6+ months’ cash handling experience.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and work accurately with numbers.
• Flexible in daily work schedule and willing to work Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Finance or related field preferred.
• 1+ years’ Teller experience preferred.
• 1+ years’ credit union or financial services experience preferred.
• 1+ years’ loan experience preferred.
• Notary Public certification preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish speaking preferred.
• Symitar experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Delta Community Credit Union policies and procedures preferred.
