About the role

The Member Service Hybrid Agent (MSHA) position combines elements of both the Teller and Member Service Agent roles. For more information, watch the "Day In The Life Of A Teller" and "Day In The Life Of A Member Service Agent" videos.

Responsibilities

  • Create a positive image for Delta Community Credit Union through excellent customer relations.
  • Provide high-quality sales performance and high member satisfaction ratings.
  • Take advantage of cross-selling opportunities by demonstrating in-depth product knowledge and anticipating member needs.
  • Process various types of transactions including deposits, withdrawals, cashing checks, and handling mortgage and loan payments.
  • Open, close, and maintain member accounts, and identify financial needs.
  • Educate members on emerging bank technologies and digital solutions.
  • Identify and report suspicious activities and promote products and services with integrity.
  • Assist with daily branch operations, including serving as a Notary Public and covering concierge desk duties.
  • Balance and reconcile various types of monetary transactions, and maintain security of cash and documents.
  • Maintain credit union relationships and demonstrate knowledge of products and services.
  • Be flexible in scheduling and willing to work Saturdays.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years’ customer service and/or sales experience.
  • 6+ months’ cash handling experience.
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations and work accurately with numbers.
  • Flexible in relieving multiple branch offices.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Finance or related field preferred.
  • 1+ years’ Teller experience preferred.
  • 1+ years’ credit union or financial services experience preferred.
  • 1+ years’ loan experience preferred.
  • Notary Public certification preferred.
  • Bilingual Spanish Speaking preferred.
  • Symitar experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Delta Community Credit Union policies and procedures preferred.
