Responsibilities

• Receive direction from Lab Manager, Regional Director, and Laboratory Medical Director.
• Work cooperatively with Administration, Physicians, Allied Health Staff, patients, and residents.
• Perform analyses on biological specimens, such as blood and urine, to assist healthcare providers in diagnosing and treating patients.
• Participate in operational support activities to maintain and optimize testing capabilities.

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate Degree in Medical Technology (MT), Medical Laboratory Science (MLS), or Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS).
• Associate’s degree from an accredited Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) program or U.S. military Medical Laboratory-training program.

Skills

• Experience working in a medical field.
• Moderate to advanced computer skills.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• The ability to prioritize work, manage time, and adjust to changes in work volumes and projects.
• Possession of Phlebotomy skills.
• A willingness to travel to other Mayo Clinic Health System locations for assignments as needed.

• Pay range: $32.43 - $48.66 for MT and $26.52 - $39.32 per hour for MLT
• Benefits eligible
• Schedule: Full-time, 80 hours per pay period
• Shift details: Overnight, Wednesday - Saturday; Regular shift covers Friday and Saturday night
