Responsibilities
Performs analyses on biological specimens, such as blood and urine, to aid healthcare providers in diagnosing and treating patients.
Participates in operational support activities necessary to maintain and optimize testing capabilities.
Qualifications
- Baccalaureate Degree in Medical Technology (MT), Medical Laboratory Science (MLS), Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS), or Bachelor’s degree plus Certificate in Medical laboratory Science (MLS), Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS), Medical Technology (MT), as recognized by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS).
- An HEW certificate may be substituted for the specified degree.
- Associate’s degree from an accredited Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) program or U.S. military Medical Laboratory-training program for MLT positions.
Skills
- Experience working in a medical field.
- Moderate to advanced computer skills.
- Good written and oral communications skills.
- The ability to prioritize work, manage time wisely, and adjust to changes in work volumes and projects.
- Preferred: Phlebotomy.
- Willingness to travel to other MCHS locations for assignments as needed.

Pay and Schedule
- Pay Range: $32.43 - $48.66 for MT and $26.52-$39.32 per hour for MLT.
- Schedule: Full Time, rotating evening and overnight shifts, overnight weekend and holiday rotation.
