Medical Assistant Office Supervisor

About the role
We have an immediate opening for an Assistant Office Supervisor to join our team at Shady Grove Fertility in Norfolk, Virginia. This role provides the opportunity to grow within a nationally respected organization while remaining closely connected to the patients and teams you support every day.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM with the ability to flex between 6:45 AM and 5:30 PM as needed
- Weekend and holiday rotation required
- May float to our Virginia Beach office as needed
Pay
$58,000 to $65,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
Responsibilities
- Provide management and direction for the office in all areas of local operations including employee supervision, training and development, patient satisfaction, quality assurance, financial integrity of the assigned site, and facility appearance & maintenance
- Organize the responsibilities of assigned staff to increase efficiency and best utilize staff skills and abilities
- Coordinate and facilitate the effective delivery of patient services by regularly monitoring patient flow and program operations
- Work in close collaboration with the Regional Executive Director and other members of the management team to promote open communication, ensure the delivery of the highest quality care to all patients, and facilitate revenue growth for the Practice
- Ensure employees are compliant with Company policies
- Set goals for assigned staff and motivate staff to accomplish them
- Serve as a backup and support to all roles in a small office setting
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Healthcare industry experience; women's health preferred
- Prior supervisory/management experience and demonstrated leadership qualities
- Experience managing a team for maximum performance
- Strong computer proficiency including experience with MS Office Suite
- Financial background and prior experience with developing and maintaining budgets and general accounting
- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and promote team building
- High bias for action and thoroughness, and ability to cultivate team synergy
