About the Role

As an ENR Top 100 CM/PM firm for five consecutive years, we specialize in program management, project controls, commissioning, and technology. This hands-on role will lead communications and content initiatives while supporting the marketing and commercialization of Procon's professional services and growing portfolio of technology solutions. The Marketing Manager will serve as a primary storyteller for the organization, translating complex technical expertise into compelling content that strengthens the Procon brand, supports business development, builds client relationships, and positions the firm as an industry leader.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that support Procon's professional services, technology solutions, strategic growth initiatives, recruiting, and business development efforts.
  • Create compelling marketing content across digital and traditional channels, including website pages, service descriptions, project profiles, case studies, thought leadership, blogs, newsletters, social media, email campaigns, and executive communications.
  • Own Procon's content strategy and editorial calendar, ensuring consistent messaging and storytelling that strengthens the firm's brand and differentiates its expertise in the marketplace.
  • Lead public relations, award submissions, earned media opportunities, and industry recognition programs that increase visibility and reinforce Procon's position as an industry leader.
  • Partner with business development, technical leaders, and product specialists to develop go-to-market messaging, sales enablement materials, product launch campaigns, and customer-focused marketing that supports new and existing services and technology offerings.
  • Support strategic pursuits by developing compelling messaging, interview materials, executive biographies, client presentations, and marketing collateral that help win new business.
  • Manage internal communications initiatives, including company announcements, recruiting marketing, employee communications, and intranet content that strengthen culture and employee engagement.
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing Manager, Media Specialist, Graphic Designer, and external marketing partners to deliver integrated campaigns while maintaining high standards for quality, consistency, and execution.
  • Analyze campaign performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and leverage marketing technology, AI tools, CRM platforms, and analytics to continuously improve marketing effectiveness.
  • Serve as a collaborative marketing partner across the organization, helping technical experts translate complex ideas into clear, engaging stories that build trust, generate demand, and support business growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, English, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of progressive experience in marketing, communications, product marketing, or content strategy.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with experience translating technical subject matter into engaging marketing content.
  • Experience supporting business development, sales, or go-to-market initiatives.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and collaborating across departments.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, content marketing, CRM, email marketing, and social media.
  • Experience using AI tools and modern marketing technology to improve content development and campaign execution.
  • Ability to interview technical professionals and develop compelling stories from complex information.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within the Architecture, Engineering, Construction (AEC), Owner's Representative, Program Management, Construction Technology, PropTech, SaaS, or professional services industries.
  • Product marketing experience supporting software or technology organizations serving the built environment.
  • Experience with organizations such as Autodesk, Procore, Esri, Trimble, Kahua, or similar technology companies is highly desirable.
  • Experience supporting federal, commercial, or infrastructure markets.
  • Experience leading or mentoring marketing staff is strongly preferred.
