LPN or Med Aide - Hospice - Full-Time Night Shift

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Med Aide (MA) to join a hospice team, providing patient-centered, comfort-focused care during a meaningful life stage. Work closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safety, comfort, and quality care for patients and families in a home care setting.

Responsibilities

• Support symptom management, emotional comfort, and dignity for patients and families.
• Participate in implementing and evaluating care plans for stable and predictable patients of all ages.
• Perform assessments, administer treatments and medications, and develop self-care education programs.
• Maintain knowledge of nursing principles, medication effects, and safety precautions.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program.
• Hold an unencumbered LPN license.
• Possess BLS certification.

Skills

• Knowledge of nursing practices and medication administration.
• Patient education and safety protocols.

Schedule

• Self-scheduling with a max patient ratio of 1:4.
• Rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Flexible for LPNs working towards RN.
