LPN or Med Aide - Hospice - Full-Time Nights

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Med Aide (MA) to join a hospice team, providing patient-centered, comfort-focused care during a meaningful life stage. Assist in implementing and evaluating care for stable, predictable patients of all ages in a home care setting. Support symptom management, emotional comfort, and dignity through collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments, administer treatments, medications, and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles, medication effects, safety precautions, and patient education.
• Work within the full scope of nursing expertise, adhering to standards specific to the patient’s age and needs.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current, unencumbered LPN license with multi-state licensure privileges.
• Knowledge of IV therapy (if applicable), medications, safety, and patient education.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Qualifications

Preferred: at least one year of professional nursing experience.

Schedule

Flexibility for rotating shifts, including every third weekend and holiday.
