LPN or Med Aide - Hospice - Full-Time Nights

About the Role

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Med Aide (MA) to join a hospice team dedicated to providing patient-centered, comfort-focused care during a meaningful life stage. This role is vital in delivering compassionate care that makes a profound impact.

Responsibilities

• Support symptom management, emotional comfort, and dignity for patients and families.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safety and administer treatments and medications.
• Assess patient needs through testing and interpretation.
• Participate in rotating shifts, including every third weekend and every other holiday.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current LPN licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Qualifications

Preferred candidates have:

• One year of nursing experience.
• Knowledge of medication effects, safety protocols, and patient education principles.
