LPN - Flex/Per Diem/PRN

About the role

Seeking a flexible Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) role with diverse shifts and locations.

Responsibilities

• Utilizing the nursing process to provide patient care under supervision or alongside a Registered Nurse.
• Ensuring patient rights and confidentiality.
• Coordinating care across departments.
• Floats between designated hospital facilities and departments such as Behavioral Health, Emergency Department, ICU, and Medical-Surgical.
• Participates in scheduling and flexibility to work day or night shifts without weekend or holiday requirements.
• Adheres to licensure, certification, and physical demands, including lifting and prolonged standing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; graduation from an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current LPN license and recent bedside experience (minimum one year for Med Surg, two years for specialty units).
• Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, and IV certification depending on the department.
• Preferred skills: Epic experience.
