LPN - Flex/Per Diem/PRN

About the role

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) providing patient care under supervision, utilizing the nursing process to ensure quality care, patient rights, and confidentiality. Floats across various departments including Behavioral Health, Emergency, ICU, and Medical-Surgical. Works at multiple facilities with flexible shifts (day or night) and no mandatory weekends or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care
• Maintain professional accountability
• Collaborate with other departments

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid LPN license
• Recent bedside experience (minimum 1 year for Med Surg, 2 years for other departments)

Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• IV certification

Skills

• Strong clinical skills
• Adaptability
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments
• Ability to be flexible and available on short notice
• Ability to handle last-minute cancellations
• Epic experience (preferred)

Physical demands

• Lifting up to 50 pounds
• Prolonged standing
• Mobility to perform duties
