LPN - Flex/Per Diem/PRN

About the Role

Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process under supervision or alongside a licensed professional, ensuring accountability and maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Float between multiple hospital departments such as Behavioral Health, Emergency, ICU, and Medical-Surgical.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate care.
• Adhere to professional standards and maintain licensure and certifications.
• Perform physical duties including lifting, standing, and moving patients.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Graduation from an accredited LPN program and valid licensure.
• Recent bedside LPN experience (minimum 1 year for Med Surg; 2 years for other specialties).
• Certifications in BLS, with ACLS, PALS, and IV certification preferred depending on department.

Skills

• Flexibility to work various shifts, with no mandatory weekends or holidays.
• Ability to work independently, be available on short notice, and handle last-minute shift cancellations.
• Strong physical stamina to perform demanding tasks.
• Preferred Epic software experience.
