LPN - Flex/Per Diem/PRN

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide quality patient care
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality
• Coordinate care with other departments
• Provide bedside care in Medical-Surgical and Behavioral Health departments
• Maintain professional accountability and adhere to licensure requirements
• Participate in scheduling and be available for short-notice shifts

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
• Current compact LPN license
• At least one year of recent bedside experience
• Certifications: BLS, IV certification; additional certifications may be required

Skills and Physical Demands

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and turn patients
• Physical strength to handle lifting up to 50 pounds
• Flexibility to work varied shifts with no mandatory weekends or holidays
