About the role
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) providing patient care under supervision or RN direction, utilizing the nursing process to ensure quality care, patient rights, and confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care across departments
- Float between facilities and departments such as Behavioral Health, Emergency Department, ICU, and Medical-Surgical
- Adapt to flexible scheduling
- Maintain professional accountability
- Support team efforts
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program with valid licensure
- Recent bedside experience:
- 1 year for Med Surg
- 2+ years for specialized areas
- Certifications: BLS required; ACLS, PALS, IV certification as applicable
- Physical ability to lift, stand, walk, reach, and perform duties involving physical stamina
