About the Role

Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process under supervision or with RN guidance, ensuring professional accountability, patient rights, and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates patient care across departments
• Supports patients preparing for or recovering from medical and surgical procedures
• Builds clinical skills in specialized units such as cardiac surgery
• Delivers safe, efficient patient care
• Maintains patient confidentiality
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to support patient recovery and well-being

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent experience
• Current LPN licensure and adherence to state requirements

Qualifications

• Certifications like BLS, ACLS, PALS, PEARS, or unit-specific credentials may be required or encouraged

Skills & Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Perform physical tasks such as reaching, bending, and kneeling
