About the role
Provide nursing care for cardiac surgery, vascular, and medical overflow patients in a 24‑bed unit, supporting pre/post‑operative care and managing cardiac dysrhythmias requiring IV therapy.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including educators, PCA/PCTs, case managers, therapists, dietitians, and speech therapists.
- Build clinical skills and earn credentials in ACLS.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent experience with successful licensure.
- Must hold a valid LPN license and meet state‑specific requirements.
Skills & Physical Demands
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lb.
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Perform physical tasks such as gripping, reaching, bending, and kneeling.
