LPN - Cardiac Surgery - Full Time

Position Overview Provide specialized nursing care in a 24-bed Cardiac Surgery Unit, supporting pre and post-operative cardiac patients, those with cardiac dysrhythmias, vascular surgery cases, and general medical overflow. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including educators, PCA/PCTs, case managers, respiratory therapists, dietitians, PT/OT, and speech therapists. Gain credentials in ACLS and develop strong clinical skills in cardiac and vascular care. Qualifications & Certifications Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent experience with licensure Maintain current LPN license according to state requirements Certification in ACLS, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., BLS, or unit-specific credentials as needed LPN-IV certification or successful course completion within three months (if applicable) Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs, prolonged standing, walking, and maneuvering in various positions Key Skills & Responsibilities Deliver compassionate patient care tailored to cardiac and vascular needs Collaborate effectively within a healthcare team Maintain required certifications and licenses Meet physical demands of the role to ensure patient safety and care quality
