LPN - Cardiac Surgery - Full Time

Position Overview This role involves providing care in a 24-bed Cardiac Surgery Unit, caring for pre and post-operative cardiac patients, vascular patients, and those with cardiac dysrhythmias requiring IV therapy. The nurse collaborates with a support team including educators, PCA/PCTs, case managers, respiratory therapists, dietitians, PT/OT, and speech therapists. You will develop strong clinical skills and earn ACLS credentials. Qualifications Include Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or comparable experience with licensure.Current LPN license in the state of employment, maintaining all licensure requirements. Certifications May Include ACLS, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., BLS, and LPN-IV certification (as required by the unit).Other certifications specific to the unit may be necessary. Physical Requirements Ability to push, pull, and lift 50 lbs regularly.Prolonged standing and walking.Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
