LPN - Cardiac Surgical - Full Time

About the Role

Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process under supervision or the guidance of a licensed healthcare professional. Maintains accountability for patient care, ensuring patient rights and confidentiality. Coordinates care with other departments to deliver quality services.

Responsibilities

• Care for diverse patient populations in MedSurg units, including pre/post-operative cardiac and vascular patients.
• Support a multidisciplinary team with educators, PCA/PCTs, case managers, therapists, and dietitians.
• Build clinical skills and earn credentials such as ACLS.
• Maintain current licensure and certifications as required.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent experience with licensure.
• Valid LPN license and required certifications (e.g., BLS, ACLS).
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform various physical tasks.
• Additional unit-specific certifications may be required.
