About the Role
The RN-Team Advisor oversees 24-hour elder care within an innovative, elder-directed care model, ensuring the implementation and evaluation of personalized care plans. This role supervises nursing staff, facilitates effective communication with the clinical team, and promotes quality of care, regulatory compliance, and positive team dynamics. The position focuses on fostering professional growth and transforming elder care.
Responsibilities
- Supervising Certified Nursing Assistants, RNs, and LPNs
- Ensuring quality of care and regulatory adherence
- Facilitating communication of elder needs
- Implementing and evaluating care plans
- Promoting teamwork and professional development
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Alaska RN License upon hire
- CPR certification within 30 days
- At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience, with gerontological nursing preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Experience in supervisory or management roles in long-term care
