About the role
The RN Supervisor in Seward, Alaska, oversees 24-hour elder care, ensuring quality, whole-person care, and regulatory compliance. Responsible for implementing and evaluating comprehensive care plans for assigned elders.
Responsibilities
- Supervises nursing staff, including CNAs, RNs, and LPNs, fostering teamwork and professional growth.
- Facilitates effective communication of elder needs to the clinical team.
- Uses established systems to promote quality of care and life in an innovative elder-directed care model.
Qualifications
- An accredited nursing degree
- Alaska RN license
- BLS certification
- At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience, preferably in gerontological or long-term care
- PREFERRED: Bachelor's degree and supervisory or management experience
