Long Term Care RN Supervisor

About the role

The RN-Team Advisor oversees 24-hour elder care, implementing and evaluating comprehensive care plans in an innovative, elder-directed model. They supervise nursing staff, ensuring quality of care, regulatory compliance, and effective communication with the clinical team. The role fosters positive change, professional growth, and teamwork within a transformational care environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants, RNs, and LPNs in a 24-hour care setting
• Ensure delivery of holistic, person-centered care aligned with standards and regulations
• Facilitate communication of elder needs to support team coordination
• Implement and evaluate care plans for quality and regulatory adherence
• Promote a positive, team-oriented, and innovative care environment

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with an active Alaska RN license
• Successful completion of BLS certification within 30 days of hire
• At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience, preferably in gerontology and long-term care
• Leadership, supervisory, or management experience is preferred
• Strong communication, regulatory knowledge, and team-building skills
