Locum Anesthesiologist

About the role

We are seeking a locum tenens anesthesiologist to provide varied coverage, including primary, backup, and 24-hour OB call shifts. The position involves managing approximately 1,200 cases monthly, with a focus on general anesthesia, trauma, and endoscopy. Trauma cases are prevalent, primarily blunt force and agricultural-related, while cardiac cases are available but no pediatric or transplant cases are required. The role includes coverage during holiday weeks.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary and backup anesthesia coverage in the operating room
• Manage 24-hour OB call shifts
• Handle general anesthesia, trauma, and endoscopy cases
• Cover shifts during holiday weeks

Requirements

• Experience in trauma and endoscopy anesthesia
• OB experience preferred
