Locum Anesthesiologist

About the role

Seeking a board-certified anesthesiologist to provide comprehensive pediatric anesthesia services in a Level 1 trauma pediatric hospital. The role involves performing anesthesia during day shifts, working 4-5 ten-hour shifts per week, with no call responsibilities. The clinician will manage a variable case load across all pediatric ages, excluding cardiac, transplant, and intensive NICU procedures, maintaining 75% hands-on involvement under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality pediatric anesthesia care across multiple surgical specialties
• Manage all pediatric surgical cases within scope, excluding specified complex procedures
• Work within a supervision model, ensuring adherence to protocols and safety standards
• Maintain prescriptive authority and deliver care during day shifts

Requirements

• Board certification in anesthesiology
• Prescriptive authority
• Experience in pediatric anesthesia preferred
• Ability to work independently within supervision guidelines

Schedule

4-5 ten-hour day shifts per week, no call responsibilities.
