Locum Anesthesiologist

About the role

This role involves providing anesthesiology coverage in a surgical facility with a focus on quality patient care. You will work during day shifts, primarily from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, handling a variety of case types including bread and butter, endoscopy, orthopedic, cardiac, and obstetric procedures in a supportive, organized operating room environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver anesthesia care with approximately 75% hands-on involvement
• Supervise procedures and provide backup call coverage in the evenings
• Provide anesthesia services across diverse specialties for patients of all ages
• Ensure high-quality care under supervision with variable case loads
• Participate in backup call duties, maintaining availability for on-call responsibilities
• Work in a facility with a focus on safety, efficiency, and patient satisfaction

Requirements

• Board certification in anesthesiology
• Strong clinical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team

Schedule

Day shifts, primarily from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with backup call coverage in the evenings.
