Locum Anesthesiologist

About the role

This role is for an MD providing anesthesia services at a community pediatric hospital, focusing on comprehensive care for children and adolescents. The position involves day shifts and managing a diverse case mix including Level I trauma, neonatal to adult general surgery, thoracic, orthopedic, and neurosurgical procedures (excluding cardiac and transplant surgeries). The anesthesiologist will handle ventilation management and arterial line insertions across all age groups, operating both independently and supervising CRNAs with 50% hands-on involvement. There are no call responsibilities.

Requirements

• Board certification in anesthesiology
• Prescriptive authority
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
