Locum Anesthesiologist

About the Role

This locum tenens anesthesiologist position involves providing perioperative anesthesia care in an operating room setting, covering both day and night shifts with required call coverage.

Responsibilities

• Deliver anesthesia services across a variety of surgical cases for adult patients.
• Work under a medical direction model, supervising and collaborating with a team of over twenty full-time CRNAs.
• Maintain approximately 50% hands-on involvement in patient care.
• Manage prescriptive authority and oversee perioperative processes.
• Provide oversight and ensure patient safety and quality within a growing, physician-led anesthesia practice.

Requirements

• Board certification is negotiable.
• Ability to work independently with strong clinical skills.
• Experience in perioperative anesthesia care for adult patients.
• Willingness to participate in call schedules and work in a team environment.
