Licensed Vocational Nurse - Clinic

About the Role

Provides patient care under supervision of physicians or registered nurses in a clinical setting. Performs basic duties such as obtaining vital signs, weighing patients, collecting specimens, and assisting with examinations and procedures. Supports patient flow and manages communication by answering phones, documenting patient information, and assisting with scheduling tests and medication refills. Administers medications and immunizations per provider orders, maintains cleanliness and supplies in exam rooms, and performs routine clerical tasks like charting and filing. Attends training and performs other assigned duties to ensure efficient clinic operations.

Requirements

• Valid LVN license in the state of employment or a compact license
• BLS certification
• Demonstrated competency in performing lab procedures, phlebotomy, and sterile techniques
