Licensed Vocational Nurse - Clinic

About the Role

Provides patient care under supervision of physicians or registered nurses, performs basic clinical duties, and supports clinic operations.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient care tasks such as obtaining vital signs, weighing patients, and collecting specimens, including phlebotomy.
• Assists providers during examinations and procedures, manages patient flow, and documents relevant information.
• Supports with medication refills, administers medications and immunizations per provider orders, and maintains clean and stocked exam rooms.
• Performs routine clerical duties like chart retrieval, filing, and completing forms.
• Answers phones, schedules tests, and assists with patient-related communication and coordination.
• Assists with equipment cleaning, sterile techniques, and supply management.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited practical or vocational nursing program.
• Licensed LVN in the relevant state or under a compact license.
• Current BLS certification.
